The story begins on Hoth. Immediately after Luke’s confrontation with the Wampa that attacked him and devoured his Tan Tan. After losing his arm and desperate for revenge, the Wampa fashions a replacement from the wreckage of the Imperial Probe droid. He had known about the rebel base nearby for some time. that’s where he will find the Jedi that took his arm.
